Structural Integration in Warsaw
I’m Michał Dzierzgwa, a licensed physiotherapist and advanced Structural Integration practitioner. I see clients in English at the Triada Zdrowia clinic in Warsaw. Whether it’s chronic pain, an old injury, or a scar that still pulls, we start with a consultation and a functional assessment of your body.

WHAT I DO
Four ways of working with your body
Structural Integration
The method developed by Dr Ida P. Rolf, also known as Rolfing. A series of 10 sessions, spaced every 1–3 weeks, in which I work with the fascia – the connective tissue that wraps and links muscles, bones, and organs – throughout the whole body, from head to toe, not just where it hurts.
ScarWork
A gentle, hands-only method developed by Sharon Wheeler for scars of any age: after a C-section, surgery, injury, or burns. It shouldn’t hurt.
BoneWork
Precise, gentle work with bones and joints, with no manipulation and no “cracking”. Helpful after fractures that healed poorly and after old injuries.
Cranial Structural Integration
Work with the head, face, and neck for tension headaches, jaw clenching, and jaw joint (TMJ) problems, as well as support alongside orthodontic treatment. For adults and children from the age of 3.
WHO COMES TO ME
When it can help
- Chronic or “wandering” pain that keeps coming back
- Strain and overload from desk work, repetitive movement, or sport
- Old injuries and surgeries that still affect how you move
- Scars that pull, feel numb, or limit movement
- Postural issues, chronic tension, and wanting to feel at ease in your body
- Headaches and jaw tension
- …and many others – ask me about your situation
HOW IT WORKS
What to expect
1. Consultation
About 60 minutes. I take a detailed history, perform a functional assessment of your posture and movement, and explain what I find. If you need further tests or to see a doctor first, I’ll tell you directly.
2. Your plan
Together we decide what makes sense: a Structural Integration series, ScarWork, BoneWork, cranial work – or something else entirely. Hands-on therapy starts at the next visit.
3. Sessions
I work within your comfort level. Some areas can feel more intense, but you tell me as soon as anything starts to hurt and I adjust. Tissue doesn’t change more when it hurts.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is Structural Integration the same as Rolfing?
It’s the same method, created by Dr Ida P. Rolf, who called it Structural Integration. The name “Rolfing”, after her surname, came later through her students. Today, Rolfing® is a trademark reserved for graduates of the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute. I trained with the European Guild for Structural Integration and work from the same foundation – Dr Rolf’s 10-session series – under the name she originally gave it.
Does it hurt?
I work within your comfort level. Some areas can feel more intense, but we agree that you tell me as soon as something starts to hurt, and I never go past that point. Tissue doesn’t change more when it hurts – the body just tenses up to protect itself.
Can I book if I don’t speak Polish?
Yes. Consultations and sessions are fully in English. To book, call the clinic reception at +48 669 443 106. If you have questions first, call me directly at +48 502 739 329.
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
No. You don’t need a referral for a private physiotherapy visit in Poland. If you have medical records or imaging results, bring them along – they help me plan your therapy.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what brings you in. Structural Integration is a series of 10 sessions; with a small scar, a few ScarWork sessions are often enough. After the consultation, I’ll tell you what makes sense in your case.
